How will you make an impact?

Responsible for the development and implementation of practical process improvement (PPI) programs at our flagship Netherlands site and harmonizing across EMEA. Builds on the strengths of prior transformation efforts and leads efforts to determine new operational excellence opportunities. Work closely with cross functional teams to manage, train, mentor others on projects, form objectives, and determine resources needed to meet the project schedule and goals. Help to coordinate the activities for strategic projects, Gembas, 5S initiatives, and metric trending with responsibility for results.

What will you do?

  • Monitors the progress of continuous improvement efforts and facilitates integration of initiatives and methodologies across sites.
  • Measures and reports key aspects of PPI performance.
  • Works closely with Finance to build operational budgets and calculate financial impacts of improvement initiatives.
  • Deploys opportunities to use PPI to improve client satisfaction .
  • Identifies and prioritizes annual PPI opportunities in conjunction with the site leadership team.
  • Manage, coach, and develop leaders to embrace PPI concepts and techniques.
  • Ensure PPI training systems are established to develop site leaders.

How will you get here?

Education/Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, engineering or science preferred
  • 2-5 years working in a continuous improvement related capacity with exposure to lean principles and techniques
  • Equivalent combinations of education, training, and relevant work experience may be considered
  • Knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and current Good Documentation Practices (cGDP) is beneficial
  • Strong proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Effective written, interpersonal, and presentation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to drive functional, technical and operational excellence
  • Ability to inspire and foster innovation, collaboration, transparency and team effectiveness
