The Job
As a Genetic Science Account Manager in our Netherlands team, you will drive Sales for our Real-time PCR and Capillary Electrophoresis instruments, kits and consumables cobvering a range of customers from academic, biotech and clinical. Your role will directly impact our mission of making the world healthier, cleaner, and safer.
This field-based sales role covers accounts in the Netherlands. You will visit customers in person 4 days per week and work from home when not traveling.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in sales, product, and systems training, marketing campaigns, and special projects to develop selling skills. You will continue to learn on the job and develop your skills further.
- Identify sales opportunities with new and existing customers and guide the sales of Company offerings to meet or exceed sales goals.
- Maintain and grow the customer database using Salesforce CRM.
- Communicate successes and failures to improve the team's operational efficiency.
- Work cross-divisionally to identify and close new sales opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in life sciences.
- Fluency in Dutch and high proficiency in English.
- Prior sales experience in Life Sciences or scientific research experience with a desire to work in sales.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Effective time management and flexibility in adapting to a constantly evolving business environment.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and AI tools.
- Valid driving license and willingness to travel within the territory 4 days per week.
