About the position
Become a part of our dynamic team as an intern and develop hands-on expertise in TEM scripting for Electron Microscopy for Materials Science. This exceptional opportunity will involve working innovative projects that harness the potential of data-driven feedback to transform the field of high-resolution transmission electron microscopy.
Job Responsibilities
- Collaborate with a team of Application Scientists to explore the application and automation of High Resolution Transmission Electron Microscopy for Materials Science.
- Support in creating and implementing advanced algorithms with our TEM scripting software and developing web-based user interface.
- Conduct extensive testing and evaluation on the microscope to ensure the flawless performance of the developed automation workflow.
- Contribute to the development of innovative solutions for complex scientific challenges.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to determine customer requirements and successfully implement them into the software.
              
                             Job Requirements                           
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Materials Science, Physics, or a related field.
- Programming skills with Python and good understanding of Object Oriented concepts.
- Strong interest in software development, automation testing, and data analysis. Experience in JavaScript, and / or Electron Microscopy is a plus.
- Proven ability to work in a collaborative and interdisciplinary environment.
- Eager and driven to learn and contribute to innovative research projects.
- Experience in building a graphical user interface is a benefit
- Experience of optimization is a plus
