Internship Data Science (Cryo-EM Sample Prep)

Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement a structured database schema to store sample data, including preparation parameters, image data, and AI outputs.
- Integrate data from various sources into the database.
- Document and present findings, including recommendations for future development and potential integrations.
Desired Qualifications:
- Student enrolled in a Master’s program in Computer Science, Data Science, Bioinformatics, or a related technical field.
- Experience with relational database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) for structured data design and optimization.
- Proficiency in Python for database interactions and handling scientific data.
- Knowledge of Git for version control and collaboration on development projects.
- Familiarity with Pandas and NumPy libraries for processing and managing large datasets.
- Eager to learn.
