About Us: The PLM team is dedicated to managing the lifecycle of our products, ensuring seamless transitions from the regular support to extended support (End of Regular Support - EORS) and from extended support to the retirement of the products (End of Service - EOS). As we expand our focus to include software lifecycle management, we are seeking a dedicated and motivated intern to help develop and implement these processes.
Position Overview: We are looking for a one-year intern who will be responsible for exploring our current product lifecycle management processes and developing a comprehensive software lifecycle management process. This role is ideal for a candidate who is passionate about lifecycle management, software development, and process improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct a thorough analysis of the current product lifecycle management processes within the MSD Division.
- Research industry best practices for software lifecycle management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and insights for software lifecycle management.
- Develop a detailed plan for software lifecycle management, including key milestones such as end of regular service (EORS) and end of service (EOS) transitions.
- Create documentation and guidelines for the newly developed software lifecycle management process.
- Present findings and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.
- Assist in the implementation and monitoring of the software lifecycle management process.
- Provide regular updates and reports on the progress of the project.
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree program in Computer Science, Information Management, Engineering Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Basic understanding of software development and lifecycle management is a plus.
