Job Title: Sr. Manager Service Innovations Architect

Job Summary:
The goal of MSD Service is to become an elite service organization demonstrating innovation and digital transformation, to drive customer business outcomes. To support this vision we are seeking a dynamic and innovative Service Architect Leader to drive the development and execution of our service design strategies. This role will play a critical part in managing the Digital Services Design Team, focusing on the analysis, definition, and implementation of new service concepts and offerings. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in service design, R&D, IT, and a shown ability to get results through case management and innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Team Management:
- Lead, coach, and develop a collaborative and diverse culture within the Service Design team.
- Run day-to-day tasks of the team, ensuring timely delivery of committed tasks.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback and mentor.
- Service Design and Implementation:
- Translate service product requirements into service designs.
- Identify, analyze, and specify customer, business unit, and internal organization requirements.
- Develop and implement new service business models and operational impacts.
- Guide the introduction of new or improved processes and verify accurate functioning.
- Strategic and Operational Management:
- Develop and drive a communications strategy to ensure visibility of status for all key partners.
- provide input to the multi-year digital services roadmap for all business units in the MSD division.
- Ensure alignment of Service Design SOPs to the Service Product Development process.
- Collaboration and Partner Engagement:
- Collaborate with R&D, Corporate IT, and other functions to share methodologies and leverage existing processes.
- Build and maintain excellent connections with worldwide service teams, operational teams, and different business units.
- Translate business requirements into e2e solution designs including technical solutions, supporting processes and integration into sales and delivery IT systems”.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Process, a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
- Confirmed experience in industrial equipment industries (Electron Microscopy would be a bonus), including a background in R&D, Services, and/or business development.
- Experience with Business Model Canvas, Process Modelling, TOGAF, Business Capability Modelling, SAFe, DevOps.
- Experience or background in a Service Organization is preferred
- Confirmed ability to get results (return on investment) using data and important metric management.
- High energy level with ability to adopt and model the Thermo Fisher Scientific values of Integrity, Intensity, Innovation, and Involvement
- Flexibility to work with globally distributed teams and adjust working hours to meet international customer and team needs.
- Must possess excellent verbal and written communications skills plus demonstrate strong leadership capabilities.
- Ability to travel up to 10% globally.
