How will you make an impact

As Sr Project Manager within the GSO Operations team you’ll bring together a range of functions that are required to work together effectively to deliver projects driving strategy deployment, process alignment and productivity. In the fast growing industry of Electron Microscopy, there is a continuous need to mature and adjust the way we operate within EM Service. Cooperating with cross-functional teams to implement projects in line with the service delivery roadmap is crucial for this role.

You will be the key driver for your respective projects connecting daily with project stakeholders for progress tracking and issue resolution to deliver the required impact to our service operations in a timely manner and with high quality.

Key Responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

  • Drive cross-functional project teams to complete strategic projects on time, within scope, and to budget.
  • Lead Global Service Operations projects through their lifecycle from discovery phase to completion.
  • Develop positive relationships across the EM Service organization including organizational leadership to foster collaboration.
  • Establish and maintain standard project documentation to ensure visibility of status against program requirements and stakeholder demands.
  • Resolve project issues and assist to resolve resource constraints within allowable project timeframes.
  • Own required communication and change management approach throughout the project.
  • Evaluate project results against stated objectives and determines corrective action.

What will you bring to our team:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant business, science or technical field or at least 5 years equivalent work experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading projects with a high attention to detail, preferably in a related industry.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, to influence without authority and partner cross-functionally.
  • Experience and shown executive-level reporting and presentations.
  • Must be a problem solver and can function in a changing environment.
  • Exhibits a strong personal ethic code, proactive and overall positive personality.
  • Proficient spoken and written English.
  • Certification in project management (e.g. PMP, PRINCE2) is preferred.
