You'll be based at our Eindhoven site, which is located in the HighTech region of BrainPort and has a 70-year legacy in Electron Microscopy. DESCRIPTION :
Will you bring our analytics to the next level? The Service Logistics Data Analyst has overall responsibility for providing insights on customer demand/usage trends, lead time development and putting these into actionable items for the Global Planning and Service Logistics teams. This person will ensure we connect the dots of all data available, e.g. customer demand, customer calls, aging (in various parts of the repair cycle), inventory costs, supplier performance, lead times and the overall cost impact on Service!

As the Data Analyst in the planning team, you will be working with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), NPI, Service Finance, Data Analytics team in Operations and Service, and Procurement teams to generate valuable insights and drive related actions. By crafting dashboards and analyzing the data, our primary goal is to improve our customer support and embrace a proactive approach, aligning with the current trend in our competitive market.
A day in the Life:
• Engage with field service teams to understand their needs and customer demand.
• Build Power BI dashboards to support Global Planning team on inbound and outbound flow.
• Build a tool to easily show the impact of business decisions (e.g. extending lifetime of a tool, or ending the production of a system).
• Ensuring follow-up on recommendations and driving structural improvements.
• Translate various data sets into actionable management information.
REQUIREMENTS :

• Must have excellent analytical skills.
• Must have the ability to translate and align data with business needs.
• Must have positive relationship building skills.
• Must have extensive experience in Power BI and Power Apps.
• Proper understanding of the MSD Service business and challenges.
Education
• University degree in Supply Chain management, or Data Science
Experience
• 3-5 years of confirmed experience in supply chain and service.
• Experience in Data Analytics and willingness to develop further
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
• Experienced in change management and continuous improvement.
• Strong analytical, advanced Excel skills.
• Power BI, Power Apps, SQL (Python and R are a plus).
• Working with teams globally.
• Ability to influence teams with different objectives to include and consider priorities.
• Must demonstrate excellent written and presentation skills, with strong English proficiency.
