As a Supervisor, Field Service, you will be at the forefront of our mission, guiding your team towards excellence and ensuring customer success.
We are looking for a Supervisor to strengthen the Field Service Team for our Electron Microscopy Service organization in the BeNeLux region. You will have your place of living in the Netherlands or Belgium.
The main responsibilities are:
- Provide strong people management and leadership to a regional service team.
- Efficiently implement performance management and development initiatives.
- Ensure perfect internal team communication.
- Lead and facilitate regular team meetings to foster teamwork and innovation.
- Coordinate efficiently with the sales and service teams to determine the best strategies.
- Lead all aspects of staff scheduling to ensure maximum efficiency and effectiveness.
- Handle critical customer communication in collaboration with the service manager.
- Actively participate in customer meetings to ensure world-class service delivery.
- Ensure health and safety protocols are strictly followed.
- Coordinate technical and non-technical training for team members.
- Support the regional service manager in various capacities.
- Plan and prepare installations in collaboration with account managers and regional experts.
- Willingly take on field service activities up to 50% of normal working hours.
What will you need?
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a technical or scientific field (engineering or physics preferred).
- Shown experience with TEM, SEM/SDB, or XPS products, or eagerness to be trained.
- Experience as a Field Service/Support Engineer or Supervisor in a high-tech environment.
- Experience leading a team of Field Service Engineers is a plus.
- Valid driving license.
Proficiencies
- Technical competence equivalent to an Engineer II, Field Service.
- Excellent interpersonal skills in English and preferably local language.
