Your work location will be Groningen at the Zuiderweg.

How Will You Make an Impact?:
You will be joining an enthousiastic team that manufactures buffers and medium for usage in the process of the production of antibodies. Your work will have an impact on the continuation of the process and eventually on batch release where the product is aimed to save or extend lives of cancer patients.

A Day in the Life:
A usual day in the live of an MBP technician starts with the TIER 1 start of the day meeting. Here your supervisor will show you the planning of the day, what you are scheduled for, discuss safety for the work that needs to performed that day and make sure all small tasks are divided over the team.

The team then enters the cleanroom to manufacture the buffers and medium that are needed to be manufactured. Work can be divided into weighing raw materials, making the buffer or medium, testing filters but also preparation of assemblies that are needed. Lunch will be held as a group when possible after which the evening team also joins the team. Once every three weeks you'll be the evening team starting at 1 pm.

Together you will finish the daily tasks and finalize the buffers and medium that needs to be prepared. Rounding the day off in the office with finalization of documentation, discuss comments with the quality department and joining the end of day TIER 1 to provide feedback to the supervisor on how the day went and what the status of the work is.

Education: MBO of HBO level preferably laboratory background.

Experience:
Required: Minimum of 1 year of work experience in a manufacturing, operations, production, lab setting or related field, can be a traineeship.
Preferred: Experience in a cGMP environment

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
This role requires you to be flexible, persistent and to have a clear view on what needs to happen. We are looking for a teamplayer that is ready to work together to get the job done. This with a quality mindset where GMP plays a key role.

Physical Requirements / Work Environment
Your job requires working in a cleanroom environment which means that gowning and make up rules apply. The MBP department manufactures buffers and medium in large proportions which are filled out in 500L buckets on wheels that need to be placed in storage after manufacturing. Therefore this job requires pushing 500L buckets/totes with your coworker, lifting 20kg weights for verification of equipment and the ability to stay inside the cleanroom for about 3-4 hours at once before going on a break.
