Amgen Breda
At Amgen Breda, medicines are labeled, assembled, stored, and eventually shipped to various countries worldwide. Every day more than 1000 people from 38 different nationalities are working on supply chain processes, manufacturing, marketing, and sales of our medicines and clinical research into new medicines.
Global Distribution Hub EMEA
The Global Distribution Hub EMEA department is responsible for managing the distribution to manufacturing locations all over the globe from EMEA and end customers in the EMEA region via a network of LSPs, TSPs and Amgen owned warehouses.
Internship project description – Predictive Distribution Performance Model
We are looking for a student for a project that is aimed at harnessing the power of publicly available data to help explain and potentially predict disruptions in distribution.
The project will entail analyzing the current performance data of our distribution network and combine this with publicly available data to suggest reasons for disruptions and lay the foundation for predictive performance modeling in Amgen distribution.
The internship is based at Amgen Breda.
We are seeking students with strong analytical skills and a passion for coding data scrapers to combine public data with Amgen performance data. If you are enthusiastic about leveraging data to drive insights, we encourage you to apply!
What we expect of you
We are looking for students with passion and who are thrilled to help in our mission “to serve patients”.
To be successful as an intern you need the following:
- Be a pre-final or a final year student, from both bachelor’s and master’s studies in Supply Chain/Data sciences
- Have proficiency in English (both verbal and written. Dutch is a plus).
- Accurate and numerate.
- Independent.
- Responsible.
- Organized.
