Glass house Employee
We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join the R&D crop science team as a crop worker , in Bergschenhoek . This role will manage all the crop work for the glasshouses.
YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Take care of the plants, twisting the plants, leaf cutting, vibrating trusses, bind the plants & crop work for the open field.
- Planting and picking the plants, clean and prepare facilities
- Know how to use heavy machines
- Harvest
- Extraction
- Spraying treatments, watering the plants
- Coordinate / organize work and technical instructing and supervising implementation by employees.
- Ability to guide and train a group of co-workers/temp workers and ensuring qualitative output by checking and steering. Reporting this back to his/her lead.
- Participate in disturbance shift (on call)
WHO YOU ARE
- MBO/HBO background
- Background in agricultural area is preferable
- Hands on mentality, taking ownership, teamplayer, coordinating skills
