About the Role

As the LIMS Application Manager at Byondis, you will be a key member of our IT department, responsible for the Laboratory Informatics systems that support critical functions in Quality Control (QC), Research and Development (R&D). You will manage key applications like LIMS, ELN, and CDS, ensuring that these systems are optimized to drive scientific innovation and improve laboratory workflows.

In this role, you will:

• Serve as the vital link between internal stakeholders (QC, R&D), external vendors, and the IT department.
• Lead the change management and renewal of Laboratory Informatics applications, ensuring all updates meet system and process owner requirements.
• Offer expert advice on system functionality and processes, implement configuration changes, and use a structured approach to enhance application performance.
• Provide second-line support, troubleshooting issues, and training key users in system usage.
• Continuously collaborate with cross-functional teams, playing a pivotal role in advancing our IT capabilities in support of groundbreaking scientific discovery.

What We’re Looking For

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

• A Bachelor’s degree (HBO) in Applied Computer Science, Business Management, Life Sciences (HLO), or a related field.
• A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in application management, functional support, or a related role.
• Strong knowledge of laboratory application systems such as LabWare LIMS, Waters Empower CDS, or Perkin Elmer ChemBioOffice Enterprise.
• A good understanding of computer system validation processes.
• Excellent communication skills in English and preferablly Dutch.
• Must possess a valid EU work permit.
