Work schedule: This team operates seven days a week due to the critical nature of our work. Weekend coverage is shared on a rotational basis (typically 1 in 4 weekends). Full-day office presence is not usually required on weekends, and team members generally work from home one day per week.

We’re looking for a Gene Therapeutics Logistics Coordinator to ensure the timely and compliant shipment of clinical kits and serum samples for global gene therapy studies.
You will play a critical role in supporting sponsor-driven projects, maintaining clear communication with customers, couriers, and internal teams to ensure flawless logistics execution.

How You Will Add Value

As a Gene Therapeutics Logistics Coordinator, you will:

• Manage all inbound and outbound shipments of gene therapy kits and serum samples.

• Create import/export documentation and maintain accurate shipment tracking records.

• Communicate daily with customers and couriers to provide shipment updates and resolve issues.

• Monitor courier performance, turnaround times, and cut-off compliance.

• Identify and eliminate operational bottlenecks, escalating as needed to the Team Lead or Account Manager.

• Maintain full compliance with GDP, GCP, and GDocP standards and internal SOPs.

• Support audits and investigations into quality or shipment-related issues.

• Participate in the team’s 24/7 on-call availability schedule (by phone) when required.

About You

You are organized, detail-oriented, and thrive in a fast-paced, quality-driven environment. You bring:

• A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

• At least 3 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or clinical trial sample management.

• Knowledge of quality systems and regulatory requirements (GDP, GDocP, GCP).

• Strong communication skills in English (Dutch is not required but would be beneficial, along with an additional language).

• A proactive mindset with the ability to stay calm under pressure.

• Flexibility to adapt to evolving priorities and occasional evening or weekend work when needed.
