Scope of the role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Support Specialist to join our regional Technical Support team within cell therapy EU Technical Operations. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with ERP/SAP and other Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) systems. You will be responsible for providing technical support, troubleshooting, and maintenance of ERP systems to ensure seamless operations within a regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities:

    • Provide front-line technical support for SAP and other GMP systems used in the pharmaceutical manufacturing process.
    • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve system issues in a timely and efficient manner.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and address their ERP-related needs and challenges.
    • Represent the users for regular system maintenance, updates, and patches to ensure optimal performance and compliance with industry standards.
    • Conduct training sessions for end-users to enhance their understanding and effective use of the ERP systems.
    • Provide ongoing support and guidance to users, ensuring they can maximize the benefits of the ERP systems.
    • Document and track support requests, incidents, and resolutions using the company's incident management system.
    • Develop and maintain a knowledge base of common issues and their solutions to improve future support efficiency.
    • Work with IT, systems & technology and business teams to implement and integrate new modules or systems into the existing ERP infrastructure.
    • Participate in the evaluation, testing, and deployment of system enhancements, ensuring they meet GMP and other regulatory requirements.
    • Ensure that all ERP-related activities comply with GMP regulations and other relevant standards.
    • Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation of system configurations, changes, and procedures.

Job requirements

Who are you?

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Relevant certifications in SAP or GMP systems are a plus.
    • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in technical support or system administration roles, with a focus on SAP and GMP systems within a pharmaceutical or manufacturing environment.
    • Proficiency in SAP ERP modules (e.g., MM, PP, QM, WM, PM, etc.).
    • Experience with other GMP-compliant systems and understanding of GMP regulations and requirements.
    • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and compliance.
