To strengthen our team, we are offering a challenging position for an Education Program Coordinator with a passion for education and organization .
As Education Program Coordinator (EPC) at GenDx , your main responsibility is to co-organize the GenDx Education Program. You are responsible for the practical organization of both in-person and online training events, and assist during live events, such as webinars, in our GenDx Studio. To excel in this role, you should be organized, proactive, and have a hands-on mentality. Strong organizational skills and a natural talent for teamwork are essential.
This position offers a unique opportunity to play a key role in delivering high-quality training and education to GenDx customers.
Responsibilities
- Coordinates the planning and organization of our GenDx educational department, including webinars, content of the GenDx Academy, and in-person training courses and workshops.
- Manage events logistics, including program development, participant registration, and practical coordination.
- Technical assistance during live events, such as webinars, in our GenDx Studio.
- Supports our Education Manager in the USA in the areas of training, support, and education.
- Development and maintenance of the GenDx Academy, our online learning platform and assist in developing new events and materials
- Communicates customers’ needs and translates this to the Education Team.
- Support the promotion of educational events and prepare educational content for social media in collaboration with our marketing team .
- Working according to ISO 13485 standards.
Requirements
- Higher professional education (HBO) or university (WO) level of working and thinking.
- Strong organization, collaboration and communication skills and experience in organizing (online/physical) events (> 15 participants), with a hands-on and proactive
- Affinity for handling webinar studio equipment and software.
- Affinity with or a background in the biotech/life science industry is a plus.
- Experience with webinar organization and the platform WebinarGeek is a plus.
- Experience with website development using WordPress and LearnDash is a plus.
- Excellent command of English (written and spoken).
- You currently live near Utrecht Science Park or are willing to relocate within a reasonable commuting distance of the office.
- Please note that you must be legally eligible to live and work in the Netherlands. Unfortunately, we are unable to sponsor work permits for this role.
