We are seeking a skilled new all-round IT colleague to join the GenDx team!
As System & Network Administrator at GenDx , you will not only handle a variety of general IT tasks, but also play a crucial part in ensuring our IT infrastructure meets stringent quality and security standards. You will operate as the primary internal IT contact for the company, working autonomously while coordinating with external IT service providers. Responsibilities
- Ensure quality, availability, and security of all software and hardware.
- IT process improvement.
- Advise the Leadership Team on IT and automation
- Close collaboration with the Digital Applications & Security Specialist.
- Cybersecurity (NIS 2 Compliance).
- Management and maintenance of IT infrastructure (Azure AD, Office 365, Microsoft certified).
- Management and maintenance of workstations including deployment, lifecycle management, onboarding/offboarding, and user support.
- Internal network including back-up system (on premises and cloud) covering networking, firewall coordination, backup monitoring, and recovery testing.
- Working according to ISO 13485 standards.
- Provide end-user support (helpdesk), acting as first and last internal support level, including incident handling, user assistance, and IT awareness.
- Lead and contribute to IT projects such as infrastructure upgrades, security improvements, and automation initiatives.
Requirements
- At least 2-5 years of relevant work experience.
- HBO working and thinking level.
- Able to work in an international environment, in which IT policies and processes need to be developed and aligned.
- Well-structured, service-oriented and quality-driven.
- Good organizational and communication skills.
- Experience with most of the following technologies: Office 365 (cloud), MS Teams, MS SQL Server, MS web server, Exclaimer cloud, Hyper V (virtual machines), 3CX VoIP, DNS records, Teamviewer, Synology servers, Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud, PDQ inventory Connect & Deploy, OPNSence router/firewall.
- Able to work autonomously in a one-person IT setup, with strong prioritization and decision-making skills.Comfortable interacting with non-technical stakeholders and external service providers
- Excellent command of English (written and spoken).
- You currently live near Utrecht Science Park or are willing to relocate within a reasonable commuting distance of the office.
- Please note that you must be legally eligible to live and work in the Netherlands to be considered for this role.
