To strengthen our Finance team, we offer a challenging position for a proactive and solution-oriented Accountant, with a sound knowledge of accounting principles.
As an Accountant at GenDx, you carry out work for the entire accounting process of GenDx and its subsidiaries. As the right hand of the Finance Director, you contribute to optimizing processes in the field of Finance. You are accurate, service-oriented, honest, can work well together and, of course, have excellent numerical insight.
Responsibilities
Carrying out the daily financial administration (banks, purchase invoices, management of suspense accounts, etc.)
Monitoring the invoicing and payment process.
Support in compiling financial reports.
Taking care of VAT/ICP returns and general ledger controls
Process improvements regarding the Finance system
Various activities within the financial administration
Monitoring/following up on Account Receivables
Preparation and coordination of audits
Working according to the ISO 13485 quality standard
(Pro)Active participation in Finance projects started by the Eurobio Scientific Group
Requirements
HBO working and thinking level (MBA, SPD or equivalent) and experience with general ledger administration
Strong MS Office skills, specifically MS Excel
Experience with SnelStart is an advantage
You are solution-oriented and willing to roll up your sleeves
Good command of the Dutch and English language (oral and written)
You live in the Utrecht Science Park region, or are willing to relocate close to the GenDx office
