Role
The Manager, ERP Finance – Account to Report (A2R) is a senior individual contributor responsible for delivering high‑quality, compliant, and scalable SAP Finance solutions that support Genmab’s financial integrity and growth. The role operates with strong ownership and an enterprise mindset, without direct people management responsibility.
Responsibilities
Enterprise Ownership & Accountability
- Take end‑to‑end accountability for assigned A2R process areas, ensuring stable operations, compliance, and continuous improvement.
- Apply strong accounting judgment to ensure SAP solutions enable accurate financial reporting and decision‑making.
- Proactively identify risks, dependencies, and improvement opportunities, escalating issues transparently.
Genmab Manager Leadership Behaviors

SAP & Digital Enablement
- Serve as a functional expert for SAP S/4HANA Finance within the A2R domain.
- Promote effective adoption of SAP Fiori and standard SAP capabilities.
- Design, support, and optimize integrations with SAP bolt‑on platforms such as BlackLine, Concur, and OpenText/VIM.
- Ensure all changes are properly tested, documented, and transitioned into steady‑state operations.
Governance, Risk & Compliance
- Ensure A2R processes and SAP configurations comply with US GAAP, IFRS, internal controls, and audit requirements.
- Maintain audit‑ready documentation and clear control ownership.
- Support internal and external audits by providing system and process expertise.
Stakeholder Partnership & Communication
- Act as a trusted advisor to Finance stakeholders, translating business needs into system‑enabled solutions.
- Communicate clearly and fact‑based with stakeholders at different seniority levels.
- Collaborate effectively across geographies and time zones.
Knowledge Sharing & Capability Building
- Contribute to onboarding, training, and knowledge sharing within the SAP Finance CoE.
- Share best practices and lessons learned across the global team.
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive working environment aligned with Genmab ways of working.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
- 5–8+ years of progressive experience in Accounting, Finance Systems, or SAP Finance roles.
- Strong understanding of A2R / R2R processes and financial close activities.
- Practical experience with SAP S/4HANA; SAP Fiori experience preferred.
- Experience with SAP‑integrated solutions (BlackLine, Concur, OpenText/VIM or similar).
- Experience in Pharmaceuticals, Biotechnology, or Life Sciences strongly preferred.
- Strong analytical skills, structured problem‑solving approach, and excellent communication abilities.
