As the Senior Director, Head of Trial Operations ,  you will be at the forefront of ensuring our clinical trials are executed efficiently, innovatively, and to the highest quality standards.

Reporting to the Vice President, Head of Trial Strategy and Delivery in the US, this hybrid role requires 60% onsite presence in either Copenhagen or Utrecht.

Key Responsibilities Include

• Define and drive the strategic direction for our Trial Operations, aligning it with broader Development Operations and commercial goals.

• Lead initiatives to enhance trial execution, boosting efficiency, scalability, and regulatory compliance.

• Collaborate with the Head of Program Leadership to manage clinical trials from start to finish, ensuring adherence to global regulatory standards, ICH-GCP guidelines, and internal SOPs.

• Provide strategic oversight on trial budgets, timelines, and risk management to ensure seamless operations.

• Manage recruitment, coaching, and performance evaluations to ensure your team reaches its full potential.

• Work closely with clinical strategy, regulatory affairs, Development Operations, and external vendors/CROs to align trial operations with overall development strategies.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in clinical trial management and operations with a strong track record in strategic and operational leadership.

• 15+ years in Pharma, Biotech, or CRO roles, with a preference for candidates with oncology expertise.

• In-depth understanding of global clinical development processes, ICH-GCP guidelines, and regulatory requirements.

• Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to build, inspire, and manage high-performing teams.

• Excellent project management, organizational, and decision-making skills.
