Job Purpose:
In this role you will act as the Finance Partner for the Vaccines and Oncology business in Netherlands. The products in scope have already shown great potential to growth and represent significant opportunities for the business in the future.
You will provide strategic financial input; monitoring and driving performance for the brands in scope as well as for the Netherlands business in general. You will interface with GM, FD, LT members, local commercial teams as well as Supply chain and Finance hub teams. You will more specifically partner Vaccines and Oncology Business Unit Heads and their respective teams.
There will also be interface with the regional finance teams in relation to the market actual performance and during the planning cycles..
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner the leadership team and FD in relation to the market performance, delivering on the target and proactively identifying risks and opportunities to the P&L including SG&A and headcount.
- Contribute to business performance with rigorous, evidence-based and analytical decision making.
- Assist in resource allocation and investment decision support making sure we are investing to win and with proper ROI;
- Support construction of robust brand plans, challenging the commercial teams ensure sales plans are ambitious and optimum level of resources is allocated to drive success.
- Identify best source analysis to define business problems and challenges.
- Lead the review and support the CCC/DRM process making sure the forecasts are ambitious and realistic and R&Os are properly captured.
- Provide the relevant support to the FD in relation to the Actual closing process together with the C&C Hub;
- Support the annual planning process with a general oversight together with the P&F Hub to ensure the relevant forecasting accuracy in the P&L
- Partner with Gross to Net analyst on the rebates process
- Lead Pricing Committee
- Owns LOC controls (Finance IBM testing) and Finance Risk Register
- Support adhoc requests from FD/Area as relevant and appropriate (E.g. MPR preparations, LT presentation)
Why you?
Basic Qualifications:
- Master in Finance or MBA.
- 5+ years post professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, ACA, CIMA, CPA, or local equivalent) or MBA.
- Experience in Partnering with Business to drive performance.
- Manage financial risk framework and governance.
- Expected degree(s) / extensive academic preparation, professional knowledge and expertise to modify/develop policies.
- Ability to drive performance, identify risks/opportunities based on data.
- Resilience and ability to adapt to change in a complex environment.
