Voor ons Clinical Safety Laboratory in Groningen zijn we op zoek naar een Laboratorium Analist III (niveau supervisor). Ons laboratorium heeft 20 enthousiaste medewerkers die werken in het lab of op kantoor. Het lab maakt deel uit van ICON’s Early Development organisatie in Groningen, waar we klinische onderzoeken uitvoeren bij gezonde vrijwilligers en patiënten. Het klinische laboratorium analyseert jaarlijks meer dan 800.000 verschillende assays, waarbij gebruik wordt gemaakt van geavanceerde apparatuur en technologie.

Wat zijn je verantwoordelijkheden?

• Voorbereiding van klinische studies ten behoeve van het laboratorium
• Praktische vertaling van het klinische protocol naar studiespecifieke instructies
• Onderhouden van contact met interne en externe klanten
• Opzetten van nieuwe assays ism de uitvoerende analisten en de klinisch chemicus
• Efficiënte coördinatie van al je studiegerelateerde werkzaamheden in het laboratorium
• Leiding geven aan en deelnemen aan projecten om bijvoorbeeld de kwaliteit of efficiëntie in het laboratorium te verhogen
• Contactpunt voor je studies en projecten voor het laboratorium, andere collega’s en klanten
• In deze rol coördineer je projecten, maar beheer je geen personeel; vaardigheden in communicatie en samenwerking zijn echter zeer welkom

Wat breng je mee?

• Je hebt een Bachelor of Master diploma (HBO/WO) met een medische achtergrond, bijvoorbeeld als (onderzoeks)analist
• Relevante ervaring, bij voorkeur in een (soortgelijk) laboratorium
• Begrip van GxP principes en interesse hierin
• Affiniteit met LIMS en/of data capture systemen en software (excel)
• Gedrevenheid, enthousiasme en een sterke werkethiek om het werk gedaan te krijgen
• Je hebt het vermogen om zaken in perspectief te plaatsen en beschikt over een goed gevoel voor humor: werk kan leuk zijn!
• Projectmanagementvaardigheden zijn een pré
• Nederlands is je voorkeurstaal en spreken we op de afdeling, maar je beheerst ook goed Engels
