This is not a traditional medical role.
It is an opportunity to stand at the intersection of science, strategy and execution , helping to establish Incyte as a credible, trusted and long-term partner for the Dutch dermatology community.

The role

As Medical Advisor in Dermatology, you will play a pivotal role in preparing and delivering the launch of our dermatology products in the Netherlands.

You will combine high-impact field engagement with strategic medical leadership , contributing actively to medical strategies, launch readiness and cross-functional execution — while remaining deeply connected to top-tier dermatologists.

Key Responsibilities

🔹 Scientific Leadership & Field Excellence

• Build trusted, long-term partnerships with leading Dutch dermatologists, academic centers and key external experts
• Act as the scientific face of Incyte in Dermatology, ensuring credibility and scientific excellence from pre-launch onward
• Drive meaningful scientific exchange around our dermatology indications, supporting better patient care and informed clinical decisions

🔹 Launch Strategy & Medical Ownership

• Play a central role in the medical launch of our product in our multiple indications
• Translate global medical strategy into local execution plans
• Contribute to launch readiness across medical, commercial, market access and regulatory interfaces

🔹 Cross-functional Impact

• Partner closely with Commercial, Market Access, Regulatory and HEOR colleagues to ensure fully aligned launch execution
• Act as a bridge between field insights and internal strategy
• Contribute to brand, positioning and communication strategies with a strong medical perspective

🔹 Evidence Generation & Scientific Innovation

• Support real-world evidence initiatives, IIS, collaborative research and data generation
• Identify opportunities to strengthen the medical value proposition in the Dutch market

🔹 Organizational Contribution

• Actively contribute beyond your formal scope when needed — from internal training to strategic projects
• Help shape Incyte Netherlands’ medical culture, processes and future operating model

Profile

• Strong experience or deep scientific understanding in Dermatology / Immunology with existing network dermatology.
• Proven ability to build credibility and trusted relationships with top-tier experts

• Strategic thinking combined with hands-on execution
• High autonomy, ownership, and adaptability
• Strong communication in English and Dutch
