Description
The purpose of the Market Access Senior Manager / Associate Director role is to lead the development and execution of market access strategies to support the successful access and reimbursement of Circulatory Restorations’ technologies across the International region, with primary responsibility for the Reducer portfolio. This role provides strategic direction, drives cross-functional alignment, and partners with country and regional stakeholders to secure favourable market conditions and enable sustainable growth. Business development capability is critical to the role, including identifying and evaluating growth opportunities, supporting market entry/expansion plans, and partnering with commercial leadership to build robust business cases that accelerate International adoption of Reducer.

Lead and execute market access strategy for the Reducer portfolio across the International region, aligned with Circulatory Restorations’ global and regional business objectives. Assess market dynamics, competitive landscape, reimbursement policies, and regulatory requirements to identify opportunities and barriers.

Partner with regional and country commercial leadership, marketing, medical affairs, regulatory, and finance to shape pricing strategy, contracting approaches, and reimbursement models for Reducer. Lead pricing analyses, value/affordability assessments, and financial forecasting to support optimal market positioning.

Drive a business development mindset across International: identify, size, and prioritise new market entry and growth opportunities for Reducer (e.g., new countries, segments, sites of care, funding pathways), translating access insights into actionable commercial expansion plans.

Support business development activities with local partners and distributors where applicable, including opportunity qualification, access and pricing due diligence, development of value propositions, and contribution to negotiations and contracting models in collaboration with legal, finance, and commercial leadership.

Oversee and ensure timely delivery of reimbursement submissions, HTA evaluations, value dossiers, evidence reviews, and other HEOR/RWE activities across priority International markets. Set standards, provide governance, and ensure insights are translated into actionable access optimisation plans.

Lead high-impact value conversations with key decision makers (payers, hospital administrators, policy makers, and procurement stakeholders) and support senior commercial leaders in external engagements to progress access objectives.

Develop, adapt, and deploy market access and reimbursement tools for Reducer to meet local market needs. Monitor access performance, track reimbursement trends across International markets, and drive continuous improvement.

Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders including payers, policy makers, healthcare providers, patient advocacy groups, and industry associations across the International region. Provide matrix leadership to cross-functional teams (sales, marketing, medical affairs, clinical, and R&D) to embed market access requirements into product planning, evidence generation, launch, and commercialisation strategies for Reducer.

Provide expert insight on International reimbursement and health policy developments and their impact on commercial objectives and prioritisation.

Identify barriers to patient access and propose strategies to resolve them.

Adapt strategies when policy changes present new barriers or opportunities.

Support the wider global market access organisation where required.
Requirements
Technical Skills

Strong verbal and written communication skills in English; additional languages desirable depending on key International markets

Strong business development and commercial acumen (critical): ability to identify opportunities, build business cases, and influence decisions through strategic, financially grounded recommendations

Knowledge of relevant payer and reimbursement systems and reimbursement compliance

Knowledge of process for policy development and implementation

Knowledge of health economics & outcomes research

Knowledge of and ability to interact successfully with stakeholders and decision makers.

Education and Experience
-
Minimum 8–10 years’ experience in market access / reimbursement / HEOR (medical devices sector and cardiovascular experience preferred)

Demonstrated experience leading reimbursement and/or HTA submissions across multiple countries/markets, with accountability for strategy, timelines, and outcomes

Proven ability to lead and influence cross-functional, matrixed teams and to align diverse stakeholders around access priorities

Experience supporting KOLs and senior commercial leaders in payer, procurement, and hospital administration engagements, including preparation of value narratives and negotiation support

Experience contributing to or leading commercial strategy and/or business development initiatives (e.g., market entry planning, distributor/partner models, deal support), ideally in International medical device markets
