We are searching for the best talent for Clinical Services Specialist to be based in Amersfoort!
We are looking for a hands-on clinical specialist who will train, support and certify J&J teams, distributors and healthcare professionals so that our refractive, laser cataract (Lex Extraction & Phaco), ocular surface and intraocular lens (IOL) products deliver consistent, optimal clinical outcomes. You will partner closely with local commercial and medical teams, support new product introductions and help solve site-level clinical challenges — all while keeping patient safety and compliance front and center!
As a Clinical Services Specialist, you will:
- Execute J&J, distributor and HCP training and certification programs (equipment and IOLs) to ensure consistent, optimal clinical outcomes and drive premium procedure performance.
- Provide pre- and post-sales clinical support and medical advice to J&J local functions, distributors and HCPs, including appropriate off-label discussions, to enable safe and effective product use.
- Lead hands‑on clinical support during new product introductions and on-site optimization to resolve sub‑optimal outcomes and accelerate adoption.
- Collaborate with local management to identify customer and business needs, and implement action plans that improve clinical results and support market share goals.
- Deliver equipment demonstrations, support sales trainings and manage product training events at J&J Vision Experience Centre, congresses or customer sites to build local capability.
- Ensure trainings, materials and field activities comply with internal and external requirements and support focus-country projects, demos and clinical studies as required.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Demonstrated experience providing clinical support to HCPs, distributors and internal teams, including pre/post-sales activities and medical discussions.
- Practical knowledge of refractive systems, laser cataract surgery & phaco equipment, ocular surface treatments and intraocular lenses.
- Experience developing and delivering HCP certification programs and equipment training, such as biometry and device-focused curricula.
- Strong clinical problem‑solving skills with a track record of optimizing site performance and improving clinical outcomes.
- Collaborative communicator who works effectively with commercial teams, local management, key accounts and KOLs to introduce technologies and support projects.
- Commitment to compliance and quality: able to follow company training procedures, policies and regulatory expectations in all clinical activities.
The anticipated base pay range for this position is 57,500 to 91.310 on an annual basis and includes 8% holiday allowance.
At Johnson & Johnson, we want every candidate to feel supported throughout the hiring process. Our goal is to make the experience clear, fair, and respectful of your time.
Here’s what you can expect:
