We are searching for the best talent for a Materials Requirements Planner to be based in Leiden.

In this vital role, you will help ensure the smooth flow of raw materials and components necessary for our production processes. You’ll be part of a collaborative team dedicated to optimizing material planning, procurement, and inventory management to meet patient and customer needs. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to impactful healthcare products within a supportive environment, with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation!

As a Materials Requirements Planner, you will:

  • Developing, maintaining, and sharing Materials Requirements Plans (MRP) to meet patient and customer needs effectively.
  • Leading inventory levels to balance availability with minimizing excess, obsolete, or expired materials.
  • Communicating material delivery schedules clearly to suppliers to ensure timely production.
  • Partnering with Global Procurement to improve supplier performance, focusing on quality and punctuality.
  • Tracking and reporting supplier service performance, sharing insights with relevant teams.
  • Collaborating with Quality and Warehouse teams to handle rejected or defective materials, ensuring swift resolution.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • A master’s degree in supply chain management or a related business field is important.
  • Up to 2 years of relevant experience in supply chain functions such as planning, purchasing, logistics, or manufacturing—preferably in a multinational or pharmaceutical environment.
  • Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative attitude to work effectively across departments.
  • Demonstrated drive and eagerness to develop professionally and grow into leadership roles.
  • Knowledge of supply chain best practices, continuous improvement processes, and a customer-focused approach.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is 52,500 to 84.000 on an annual basis and includes 8% holiday allowance.
