THE OPPORTUNITY
The Senior Financial Analyst role offers a unique experience to support the Nijmegen plant under Biosurgery. It is also a great opportunity to support the ETHIZIA scale-up, a product launched in 2024, providing hands-on financial oversight and analysis during a critical growth phase. The position will lead reporting & close activities in collaboration with GS and local team. This person will work closely with production to understand business impact on the financial results as well as educate and inform departments on cost drivers and variances.

You lead closing & reporting activities including submissions, reviews & SOX controls

You provide financial results and analysis to business partners to support better business decisions, including support on project costing, pricing, and other ad-hoc requirements.

You act as finance partner to other business functions in the manufacturing plant providing financial results and analysis to support decision making. While managing inventory, production and capital expenditures, make recommendations for decisions with short- and long-term focus and influence outcome using fact-based data.

You actively participate in Ethicon transformation projects (SigniFi), supporting process change management and ensuring operational readiness.

You contribute to initiatives driving finance process improvements by identifying opportunities for efficiency and participating in their implementation.

You maintain the highest compliance standards while processing day-to-day activities, including assigned monthly/quarterly journal entries, accounting controls and reconciliations.
IT’S ALL ABOUT YOU
What you need to succeed in this role:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field (required)

Previous work experience in Accounting/Finance 3-5 years
-
Proficient spoken and written English (required).

Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (required).

Strong analytical skills, accuracy, and attention to details

Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently

A team player with a positive, can do attitude and agility to flex multiple work streams fluidly

Strong sense of urgency and responsibility, ability to work to tight deadlines
The anticipated base pay range for this position is 64,000.00 to
103,040.00 EUR on an annual basis and includes 8% holiday allowance.
