Position overview

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual to join our team as a Production Lead in Groningen, Netherlands. In this role, which became available after an internal promotion, you will be responsible for overseeing the production results of the assigned production teams. You will actively own the production process and line utilization, ensuring that there is sufficient coordination and clear priorities for the production teams and support departments. As a mentor and leader, you will also develop the Team Leads and their teams, promoting open communication, knowledge sharing, and the exchange of ideas.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Lead proactively to achieve targets

• Understand the drivers behind them

• Develop plans to increase overall efficiency

• Monitoring, analyzing and improving continuously the KPI’s

• Identify key talent and address underperformance proactively to support individual and team development.

• Responsible for managing the performance management process. (5 conversations)

Qualifications & Experience

• bachelor's degree in (bio) process technology, chemistry, or engineering. Equivalent experience will be taken into consideration

• Experience in a similar capacity, particularly with continuous improvement, is highly regarded

• Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma training is also desirable

• The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, employ a collaborative management approach, and be driven to achieve results

• Effective verbal and written communication skills in Dutch and English are necessary
