Job Description:

At Johnson and Johnson, we are seeking highly motivated individuals to join our Operations Process Support USP team as Operations Shift Leads. If you are looking to embark on an exciting new journey and enjoy a challenging yet rewarding position, then we want to hear from you!

As an Operations Shift Lead, you will play a crucial role in the day-to-day management of our operational production. You will be responsible for overseeing shift teams, ensuring the progress, safety, and quality of our processes. Your ability to promptly escalate deviations or breakdowns to the appropriate stakeholders will be essential in maintaining our operational excellence.

Responsibilities that YOU have:

  • Effectively communicate the progress of daily production processes to the organization.
  • Monitor and report on the progress of production processes on daily basis.
  • Act as the Building Captain during emergencies, leading the response team within the shift teams.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for escalation and communication between Operations shifts.
  • Ensure proper RCA and investigation is taking place of all issues escalated.
  • Responsible for leading Lean manufacturing initiatives such as Kaizens.
  • Ensure adherence to set standards such as cGMP, EHS&S, Business Excellence, and ME2, while continuously driving improvements using LEAN tools.
  • Foster collaboration and synergy among departments within production and beyond.
  • Take responsibility for maintaining a safe work environment and delivering high-quality products.
  • Work in shifts and have complete oversight of operations.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in shift management within an operational environment.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of cGMP, EHS&S, and process improvement methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Lean and continuous improvement mindset.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Proven track record of managing relationships across various departments.
  • High attention to detail and a commitment to delivering excellence.

If you meet the following Job requirements, we would like to hear from YOU:

  • HBO degree with at least 3 years relevant experience or a non-relevant HBO degree with at least 5 years relevant experience.
  • You are familiar with an operational organization. Preferably worked in different departments or units.
  • You have leadership skills and a natural interest in people.
  • You have skills and interest in leading improvements within Operations.
  • You can motivate and convince people.
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal in Dutch A2 (required) and English B2 (pre).
  • High quality awareness and experience affinity with EHS and cGMP standards.
  • You are enthusiastic, independent, and innovative (be able to think outside the box), stress resistant (be able to deal with pressure, fast changes) and you can transfer this to your team.
  • As an Operations Shift Lead, you will be quality-conscious, service-oriented, flexible, a strong team player, and possess excellent analytical skills for making connections easily.
  • You take the initiative to achieve goals in time and to achieve results. It is important to plan your own tasks well.
  • You could work in a shift roster
