The purpose of this function is to oversee all activities of the accounting team (including all fiscal aspects). Responsibilities include overseeing and managing general accounting activities (including monthly financial closings and consolidations), financial analysis, maintaining effective internal controls (Internal Control Framework), and maintaining the relationship with the external auditor and external tax advisors. Also, the Head of Accounting ensures that all regulatory reporting requirements are implemented and adhered to throughout the organization (including foreign subsidiaries).
The Head of Accounting reports directly to the Chief Finance Officer and plays a crucial role in maintaining effective internal controls and statutory compliance.
