Logistics Specialist CMC

The logistics specialist is responsible for coordinating and assisting with the main logistical activities within the CMC, Bioconjugation and R&D groups. This includes import- and export documentation activities to obtain required custom clearance, physical receipt of customer materials and shipping of materials to customers worldwide, updating of the internal electronic systems to track materials.
Key responsibilities:

Responsible for import and export shipments

Provide and share the correct information and documentation internally and externally

Ensure adherence to global customer and trade compliance procedures

Preparation of shipments for pick-up

Work with 3rd party warehouse, brokers, customs and regulators to ensure successful delivery of goods.

Assures accurate inventory management in-house and at 3rd parties

Assures necessary bookings in the finance system to account for incoming and outgoing shipments

Maintains a clean and safe logistical working environment

Assist and perform physical counts, cycle counts and periodic inventory verification

Perform other duties related to logistics and supply chain as assigned
Key requirements:

Minimum education level of MBO is required; HBO is preferred.

Flexible: As this is a new role, you should be adaptable and help establish best practices, including documenting procedures (SOPs).

Communication skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential due to frequent interactions with clients and the need to clarify uncertainties, especially with high-value shipments.

Attention to detail: You must be structured and detail-oriented to ensure accurate shipments and prevent customs delays caused by documentation errors.

A laboratory background is a plus.

Proficiency in reading and writing English is essential for communication with foreign customs.
