Lonza acquired Synaffix , a biotechnology company focused on commercializing its clinical-stage technology platform for the development of more effective and better tolerated antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs.)
For this new standalone role within Synaffix , we are currently looking for an Operational Technology Engineer. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the laboratory computer operations, managing the lifecycle of the systems, and acting as the system administrator for the associated software that enables our laboratory instruments. In this role you will be responsible for all operational technology-related tasks in our labs. You will be closely partnering with the site management team, laboratory operations, external vendors, as well as the Lonza global IT department, manufacturing, and engineering teams.
Key responsibilities:

Ensure that adequate standards are maintained, communicated and effectively implemented for all systems and associated computer infrastructure.

Consult and advise computer systems projects on the correct application of internal and external regulations.

Audit computerized systems at the site and monitor the implementation of corrective and preventive action plans.

Ensure that the internal regulations are in line with up to date regulatory requirements.

Ensure that the lab application software package can work in the Lonza OT environment, provide support to configure proper setup.

Support in validation documentation, creation of design specifications.

Ensure that the change management process for evaluating new or revised software is implemented and that the appropriate validation activities are identified and carried out.
Key requirements:

Vocational or Bachelor's degree in engineering/ control technology, or ICT.

Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in a similar position within the pharmaceutical, health science environment.

Minimum 5 years experience with hardware application support, network support. Lab system support.

Willingness to work independently in a standalone function.

Candidates are encouraged to reside within max 1 hour travel of Oss to facilitate commuting.
