Based in Geleen, you will lead the QA Systems – Material & Supplier team, ensuring high-quality oversight of materials, suppliers and related quality systems. In this role, you guide your team, support cross-functional collaboration and ensure materials and suppliers meet all GMP and internal requirements. You will play a key role in maintaining compliance, audit readiness and continuous improvement.

What you will do

• Lead and develop the QA Systems – Material & Supplier team, including coaching, goal setting and workload planning.

• Review and approve raw material lists, assessments, specifications and master data in SAP/LIMS.

• Oversee material setup processes and contribute to cross-functional decision-making.

• Support deviations, change controls and CAPAs related to materials and suppliers.

• Manage supplier qualification activities, including classifications and performance assessments.

• Collaborate with global supplier qualification teams to align processes and standards.

• Act as SME for material setup and supplier qualification during client projects and audits.

What we are looking for

• Experience in QA within GMP manufacturing, ideally with materials, suppliers or QA systems.

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach, support and guide team members.

• Solid understanding of GMP, supplier qualification and material management workflows.

• Clear communication skills and the ability to work across multiple departments.

• Organized, analytical and comfortable handling multiple priorities.

• Proactive mindset, with a focus on continuous improvement and problem-solving.

• Ability to act as SME for material and supplier-related quality topics.
