Technician- Molecular Biology

We are on the lookout for a T echnician – molecular biology to support our early discovery and protein engineering teams.
The Role
The early discovery and protein engineering teams are responsible for generating antibody panels and engineering antigens and antibodies, and are thereby key contributors to the discovery of groundbreaking new medicines to treat cancer.
As a technician – molecular biology, your main tasks and responsibilities will be the following:
- Constructing DNA expression vectors for proteins and antibodies
- Cell culture and transfection
- Validating protein antigens using ELISA, FACS and a range of biophysical assays
- Selecting target-specific antibodies using phage display
- Producing and purifying mono- and bispecific antibody panels
- Characterizing antibody panels in terms of specificity and affinity using ELISA, FACS, SPR, and other analyses
- Developing research protocols
- Documenting laboratory experiments
Your Profile
We are looking for a candidate with several years of experience, who enjoys working with large data-sets and Excel and has a collaborative team-spirit.
In addition, you have the following knowledge and expertise:
- A Bachelor’s (HLO) or Master’s degree
- At least 3 years of work experience
- Expertise in molecular biology and familiar with phage display
- Experience with cell culture and flow cytometry
- Experience analyzing and presenting data
