Are you ready to take on a pivotal role in driving change with a focus on Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS)? We are currently seeking an experienced EHS Change Management Specialist to lead impactful transformation within our structured process framework at our Boxmeer location. This role presents an exciting opportunity to drive significant changes in our EHS processes, products, equipment, and installations while making a lasting impact on our operations.

Purpose of the Role

As the EHS Change Management Specialist, you will play a crucial role in shaping our approach to change management from an EHS perspective. Your strategic mindset and collaborative efforts will ensure that our operations remain safe, compliant, and environmentally responsible. Reporting to the EHS System & Improvement Lead at the Boxmeer site, you will lead and support various initiatives to drive ongoing enhancements.

Key Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Leading EHS Change Management efforts and providing guidance to the Boxmeer site departments
  • Offering expertise and standards to support new changes, including thorough assessments of design and control measures
  • Proactively identifying opportunities for improvement and collaborating with various teams to drive ongoing enhancements
  • Evaluating the overall impacts of EHS changes and creating/maintaining a follow-up dashboard to monitor progress, providing management status updates
  • Assuring procedural compliance, initiate and drive change when necessary
  • Supporting training and communication efforts as part of change management
  • Managing the change portfolio, ensuring successful adoption.
  • Assessing change risks and providing actionable guidelines for minimizing impacts
  • Collaborating with EHS improvement engineers and change managers to guide decisions for major changes

Your profile

We're seeking candidates with the following qualifications and skills:

  • HBO/WO diploma in a technical field (e.g., process technology, environmental science, mechanical engineering) or business administration/lean/six sigma direction.
  • Preferred completion of a Safety Engineering (HVK) study.
  • Several years of relevant experience in a Safety, Health & Environment role, ideally within an international industrial setting.
  • Strong affinity with the complete scope of Environment, Health & Safety in an organization.
  • Experience in audit follow up, risk assessments, and investigations in ongoing projects.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
  • Active, hands-on approach and willingness to travel (to location De Bilt) as required
