Our Value & Patient Access team is responsible for ensuring reimbursement facilitating patient  access to our medicines and vaccines. Our work spans from market preparation and launch of new medicines and vaccines from our pipeline, to securing reimbursement for our products and shaping an optimal access landscape and to substantiate the value of our products. We strive for broad access to our innovative medicines and vaccines and optimization of health gains for patients, society, and the healthcare system. Purpose of the Position

You will define and implement the strategy for health economics and patient access for our medicines and vaccines. In this role, you develop strong economic value stories, lead the health economic components of reimbursement dossiers, and secure optimal reimbursement and patient access in both hospital and out‑of‑hospital settings. You use health economic evidence, insights from Health Technology Assessment and real‑world data to support decisions made by payers, policymakers, healthcare professionals and internal stakeholders, ensuring that our innovations create meaningful value for patients and society.

Main Responsibilities

  • Develop clear, well‑substantiated economic value propositions and reimbursement dossiers

  • Generate and adapt local health economic and outcomes evidence, including cost‑effectiveness and budget impact analyses

  • Create practical tools that support market access and policy strategies

  • Work closely with Patient Access, real‑world evidence, Medical Affairs, Policy, Communication, commercial teams and regional and global expert centers

  • Build and maintain relationships with key external stakeholders such as health authorities, the Ministry of Health, insurers, hospitals, professional associations and scientific experts

  • Monitor developments in the healthcare system and policy and translate these into concrete actions to secure sustainable, patient‑centered access

Your Profile

  • Master’s degree in (Health) Economics, Econometrics or a related field

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in health economics and/or HTA, including economic data analysis and (econometric) modelling, preferably in the pharmaceutical or healthcare sector

  • Strong understanding of the market access environment, hospital systems, and integrated care

  • Experience with reimbursement dossiers (pharmacotherapeutic/economic) is an advantage

  • Expertise in a therapeutic area (e.g. oncology, vaccines, immunology, cardiovascular) is a plus

  • Strong analytical skills and experience with health economic modelling and related methods

  • Fluency in Dutch and English
