Intern- Supplier Development & Performance Management (SD&PM)
The Position

Organon is recruiting for a student to join the SD&PM department by April 2025 for 5 months for an internship. The role will be hybrid.
Under the guidance of the Global Procurement and Supplier Management (GPSM) group, the SD&PM group primary responsibility at Organon is to ensure uninterrupted supply of good and services to our manufacturing sites globally by partnering with our external suppliers.
At the end of your assignment, you will have learned the following:

Work hands-on improving supplier manufacturing processes.

Gain exposure to continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean) such as Statistical Process Control, Visual Management, Capability Assessments, 5-Whys, Fishbone Diagrams, Corrective Action/Preventative Action (CAPA).

Perform risk assessments and develop risk mitigation plans.

Advance an understanding of group dynamics within working communities.

Foster collaboration and innovation.

Strengthen communication and interpersonal skills
Responsibilities

Assists the SD&PM Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE), using problem-solving skills, to conduct root cause investigations and implement CAPAs for supplier issues.

Transition of business systems from external providers to internal solutions

Dashboard Development – e.g., Tier supplier interruption, supplier development progress using PowerBI or other business intelligence tools.

SharePoint/Teams redesign.

Data Analytics Support – supplier scorecards, spend data and trending.
Required Education, Experience, and Skills
-
Pursuing B.S. degree (Engineering, Science, Manufacturing, Supply Chain Management, Biology, Chemistry, Biomedical, Biochemistry).

Interpersonal and communications skills.
