Main responsibilities
- Develop and define project scopes related to various packaging topics, including new or updated primary, secondary, or tertiary packaging processes, materials, and equipment. Specify what needs to be done and how it should be executed in collaboration with production departments and other stakeholders.
- Lead the commissioning and qualification processes for packaging changes, carefully balancing pros and cons, timing, resource allocation, strategic goals, and risk management.
- Optimize critical process attributes on automated, high-volume packaging equipment, ensuring precise and efficient tuning to achieve optimal performance.
- Manage projects involving pharmaceutical products, medical devices, packaging equipment, or the introduction of new products into Organon Oss production facilities.
- Lead or support investigations stemming from production deviations or out-of-specification (OOS) situations. This involves managing large amounts of information and data, making strong decisions, and developing structured approaches to resolve issues effectively. Gaining buy-in from sponsors and stakeholders is critical to achieving project success.
Your profile
- A Master’s or bachelor’s degree in Packaging, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related technical field is preferred.
- Relevant work experience, ideally 2-3 years or more, in a related field.
- Experience in a highly regulated engineering environment is a strong advantage, particularly familiarity with processes like change control.
- Demonstrated expertise in various areas of packaging, with a proven ability to learn and expand your skillset through assignments.
- Strong ability to communicate and explain technical information clearly and effectively. You can persuade stakeholders using knowledge and applied research results, particularly in the context of developing and executing qualification protocols
