About the job

We are seeking a highly motivated Medical Advisor to join our specialty care immunology medical affairs team. In this role, you will implement the medical and scientific (non-promotional) strategy for the Immunology-Rhinology therapeutic area with a focus on Chronic Rhinosinusitis with Nasal Polyposis (CRSwNP). You will also implement other key medical affairs initiatives primarily in the field in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, in alignment with the immunology North Europe medical strategy, and according to the highest ethical and compliance standards.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a high performing team with a can-do attitude to create and deliver value to HCPs and patients. This is a local hybrid role with field-based work. Travel is expected in the Netherlands and occasional travel within the North Europe region.

Main responsibilities:

  • Identify, develop, and maintain collaborative relationships with current and future Key Opinion Leaders to advance scientific dialogue and medical excellence.
  • Deliver regular external scientific and medical presentations to scientific conferences, high-level scientific audiences, and key business stakeholders.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with local scientific societies, central decision makers, and relevant health authorities.
  • Drive the organisation and implementation of Advisory Boards and other high-impact scientific meetings.
  • Oversee and interpret new scientific data, literature, and competitive trends, adjusting medical and educational activities accordingly.
  • Support local market access medical alignment and contribute to new indication launch preparation.
  • Act as a proactive and active contributor to the cross-functional local brand plan, dossiers, and related initiatives.
  • Serve as a strong partner to Commercial, Market Access, Regulatory, Pharmacovigilance, and Public Affairs teams, providing continuous medical advice and training.

About you

  • Master's degree or higher in medicine or a life science discipline; a PhD in medicine or life sciences is strongly preferred.
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical industry; prior experience in a similar Medical Affairs role is a distinct advantage.
  • Proven experience communicating with medical authorities, hospitals, physicians, specialists, KOLs, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Strong ability to interpret and disseminate complex scientific and clinical data to diverse audiences.
  • A true team player with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build lasting professional relationships.
  • Strategic mindset with a results-driven approach and a clear understanding of both short- and long-term goals.
  • Business proficiency in English and native-level fluency in Dutch.
