As the Principal grows, we expect they will have the opportunity to lead deals and/or take board observer and director seats. A successful candidate will be able to understand, interpret, and integrate information from diverse therapeutic areas in order to reach investment conclusions. It will also be important for candidates to understand the strategic rationale, business principles, financial analysis, and market dynamics that govern investment decisions. Principals will have broad exposure to company management teams, Sanofi R&D colleagues, investor conferences, and other resources that SV utilizes to make investment decisions.

Maintain oversight and support management of existing portfolio companies by taking board observer (and ultimately full director seats) when appropriate. Support analysis and provide recommendations for selling of public company positions
  • Active Team Member: Actively participate in SV activities and represent SV at the highest standards in both internal and external settings. Prepare presentations and reports and is principally responsible for content, style and analytics associated with the quarterly investment meetings.
