The opportunity
Our colleague got promoted hence we are looking for a Warehouse Operator for our site in Haarlem (NL). In this role you will be responsible for processing the flow of goods and internal transport, in such a way that goods are handled adequately and are present in the designated places in a timely manner.
How you’ll spend your day
• Loading and unloading trucks, intake of materials (internal and external)
• Checking incoming shipments and preparing of outgoing shipments
• Unpacking and repacking goods; checking for quality and quantity
• Booking in and out of goods
• Transporting materials, both manually and using transport systems, forklifts, etc.
• Providing storage of materials
• Preparing packaging materials and issuing goods according to orders
• Collecting orders and packing goods according to regulations
• Cleaning and 1st line maintenance of equipment, work environment and warehouse
• Carrying out cycle count orders
• Maintaining contacts with other departments that deal with the incoming and outgoing flow of goods to be related. Compliance with TEVA regulations, GDP and GMP guidelines, SOPs and (ARBO) regulations
Your experience and qualifications
• Education within logistics or warehouse represents an asset
• Teamwork: Collaborating effectively with colleagues to maintain smooth operations.
• Communication: Clear and concise interaction with supervisors and team members to prevent errors.
• Solution driven: Quickly identifying and resolving issues related to inventory, logistics, or equipment.
• Adaptability: Adjusting to changing workloads, schedules, and unexpected challenges.
• Attention to Detail: Ensuring accuracy in inventory management, labeling, and order fulfillment.
• Safety Awareness: Following protocols to prevent accidents and ensure a secure work environment.
• Work Ethic: Demonstrating reliability, responsibility, and commitment to the job.
Prepared to:
• Work in 2-shifts: 6h-14h30 or 14h-22h30
• Weekend service and consignment service (on average 1x per 2 months)
Note: VOG (certificate of conduct) is a requirement to perform this role
