How will you make an impact?
The Drug Substance Division is a biopharmaceutical site that offers multiple products and serves various clients. It has manufacturing facilities for pharmaceutical products used in preclinical trials and commercial markets. PSG-IT supports the Information Technology infrastructure and automation applications at the DSD sites. The responsibilities of this IT role include ensuring the reliable operation of business-related applications, databases, and interfaces in a GxP environment, 24/7. The person in this role is part of the PSG-IT team.
What will you do?
- Design, upkeep, and evolve sophisticated IT applications and interfaces in accordance with corporate and site standards and policies.
- Ensure compliance with GxP applications. Offer technical leadership and support for all IT business applications.
- Maintain ERP systems and associated applications.
- Develop and implement solutions to improve ERP and related applications for different functions (Finance, logistics, procurement, manufacturing, etc.).
- Identify and integrate complex data sources to improve data visibility.
- Assist process owners in automating business processes securely and in compliance with regulations.
- Develop system monitoring tools for proactive monitoring and alerting of core responsibilities.
- Identify, isolate, and accurately address problems.
- Investigate and suggest new technologies.
- Support as expertise at capital project teams.
- Plan, implement, and maintain automation/control projects in a GMP environment.
- Collaborate closely with PSG IT to implement and maintain applications based on corporate technology standards, considering equivalent experience in addition to educational requirements.
How will you get here?
Education
- HBO-level education in Computer Science.
- Proven expertise as a support specialist in applications, data analytics, programming, and database management.
- Familiarity with IT applications such as Exact, MS SQL, Low code systems, and various programming languages is needed.
- Familiarity with business processes such as Finance, Logistics, Purchasing, and Manufacturing is beneficial.
Additional Data
- Windows workstation and Server experience required.
- Network topology knowledge is required.
- Experience in owning the deployment and maintenance of an infrastructure system to support all business applications.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
- Understanding of Networking (TCP/IP, OSI Model, Switching, and Firewalls).
- Knowledge of programming tools and data management (SQL, Process Historians, Portals, Python, JAVA, etc.).
- Quality skills (GxP, CFR part 11, software validation).
- Ability to function in a small team, providing an adaptable service to internal customers and balance multiple priorities simultaneously.
