The Opportunity: Tool Owner – High-End Transmission Electron Microscopes
In this role, you will serve as the tool owner for a customer-specific Transmission Electron Microscope (TEM), ensuring the system is built and aligned according to exact specifications. You’ll be responsible for the full integration of modules at the system level, acting as the first point of contact for resolving issues and collaborating with teams across Operations Engineering and R&D.

You’ll work hands-on in our cleanroom environment, helping deliver TEM systems that take 9–12 months to build, align, and test before shipping.
Your Responsibilities:
- Integrate and test high-end TEM modules and complete systems
- Follow structured test protocols and processes
- Ensure on-time delivery with the highest quality standards
- Supply to ongoing product and process improvements
What You Bring:
- MBO with 2+ years of relevant experience, or HBO/ Bachelor’s in a technical field (e.g., Mechatronics, Mechanics, Systems & Control, Electronics, Applied Physics)
- Familiarity with mechanical and/or electronic systems
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex technical data
- Experience working with high-tech systems, or demonstrable technical passion via education or hobbies
- Proven communication skills in English; Dutch is a plus
