Job Summary:

The role will focus on growing and developing the NGS (clinical diagnostics and research) market with Ion Torrent NGS platforms. It will involve maintaining existing relationships with key opinion leaders and developing new relationships as we expand our menu and application. The portfolio will cover all NGS applications focusing mainly on Oncology but also with solutions in Immunology, Microbiology & Genetics, and other in the future. The role is remote based and covers the territory of the Netherlands

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify sales opportunities primarily within research institutions, hospitals, biotech and clinical diagnostics groups and manage the complete sales process to completion
  • Develop and execute business plans for targeted accounts. Complete a territory business analysis for management quarterly review.
  • Maintain consistent and structured communication with counterparts and articulate summarized communication to Manager on a periodic basis
  • Integrate successfully into team selling environment by partnering sales efforts with other Life colleagues
  • Partner with marketing department to support the development and execution of marketing programs and sales materials
  • Obtain successful adoption of the technology within all applied markets while investigating the potential of other applications and solutions in the research, pre-clinical and clinical space
  • Identify the full base of possible target customers by direct marketing and research including exploring additional applied markets
  • Manage and maintain key relationships with collaborating partners
  • Maintain and develop the CRM database (Sales Force), provide regular sales reports and forecasts

Are you ready to be a key member of a fast growing, impactful mission driven opportunity? We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Account Manager for the Western Region of France. The Senior Account Manager is responsible for growing the CSD business in Western France. In this role you will be empowered to create demand by building effective and customized growth strategies for the region which has a revenue of 5M$ and a double digit growth expectation.

The portfolio will cover all NGS applications primarily in the Oncology space. The role is remote based.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete ownership of the sales process from account identification and creation to revenue recognition.
  • Drive growth within the clinical setting across Academic Hospitals, regional health systems and private labs.
  • Complete periodic territory business analysis to support a strategic and sustainable growth within your strategic accounts.
  • Drive consistent and structured communication with cross functional colleagues across service and support and medical affairs teams.
  • Integrate successfully into team selling environment by partnering sales efforts with other Life colleagues
  • Partner with marketing department to support the development and execution of marketing programs and sales events nationally and internationally.
  • Enhance the adoption of the technology within all current accounts while developing and prospecting new business across the clinical and research spectrum.
  • Manage and cultivate Key Opinion Leader relationships
  • Develop a reliable and accurate Forecasting review of all opportunities
  • Maintain and develop the CRM database, provide regular sales reports and forecasts

Required Qualifications:

  • Graduate qualification in an appropriate science subject, molecular biology preferred
  • Several years sales experience in research / healthcare/diagnostics/clinical market
  • A proven track record of working with diagnostics solution-based products in those markets
  • Commercial acumen and the ability to promote a technical solution as a value for money exercise
  • Computer literacy, especially with regard to modern user interfaces, document and presentation preparation and report writing
  • Excellent communication skills, written and spoken-fluent English, French and German language skills
  • Experience with Molecular Biology, Next Generation Sequencing or Oncology preferred
