Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage CoGS down programs and roadmaps, ensuring flawless execution and outstanding results.
- Secure continuity in the MSD strategic initiative to achieve annual value engineering productivity hard savings
- Own the product cost roadmaps and drives prioritized value engineering project execution
- Encourage an approach of value engineering across the organization, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
- Partner with R&D, Operations, and Suppliers to determine and successfully implement cost-reduction strategies and solution
- Connects to NPI projects to deliver right first time product cost targets
- Cultivate effective cooperations with outsourced engineering teams to achieve project goals
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a senior engineering role with a focus on cost management and value engineering.
- Strong track record of leading and managing complex engineering projects successfully.
- Excellent collaboration and partnership skills, with the ability to work effectively across multiple teams and departments.
- Outstanding problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and implement solutions strictly aligned with project goals.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience; advanced degree preferred.
