Education
- Experience in Product Development, Process and Project management at least 10 years
- BSc or MSc degree in Business Administration, Physics, Electrical Engineering or related technical software field.
Experience
- Proven experience in a customer delivery environment, including interactions with R&D.
- Solid understanding of development cycles and service processes.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including R&D, marketing, supply chain, manufacturing, and quality assurance. This ensures smooth integration and timely execution of new product launches.
- Demonstrated ability to build and implement arguments for service impacts.
- High-reaching approach with a dedication to delivering world-class service solutions.
- Being flexible and entrepreneurial to find ways to achieve your goals in a growing organisation.
Job Overview
Join a team revolutionizing customer service as a Sr. Service Program Manager at Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. in Eindhoven, Netherlands or Brno, Czech Republic. You will be part of the Product Serviceability team, which objective is to incorporate serviceability into new product developments. In this way Field Service is enabled to scale with company growth and the increased product complexity. Together with a Service architect and with the help of subject matter experts you will form a team for all activities within the Semiconductor business unit. In this area you will be key in advancing innovative R&D projects securing flawless service.
Key Responsibilities
- Detect and analyze R&D project and program initiatives affecting Serviceability.
- Engage with R&D on active NPI projects to identify gaps impacting service. This is done in collaboration with Service architects.
- Negotiate effectively with Business Unit managers and VPs often based on financial case content.
- Ensure the internal Service NPI process delivers timely and high-quality outcomes.
- Work closely with Operations and internal service departments to achieve seamless execution.
