The Challenge + Position

In this role, you will act as a tool-owner, ensuring that customer-specific transmission electron microscopes are built and aligned according to strict requirements. You will coordinate the integration of all modules at the tool level, addressing and solving any challenges that arise. This position offers both experienced professionals and fresh graduates the chance to thrive in a dynamic, cleanroom environment. Our TEM microscopes require 9-12 months for full assembly, alignment, and testing before shipment.

Specific responsibilities are:

• Integrating modules and testing the complete microscope
• Performing activities based on established procedures
• Testing parts or systems within typical timeframes
• Delivering modules or microscopes on time with the right quality
• Working on product and process improvements
• Independently tracking and analyzing problems to find solutions

The Requirements

The successful candidate will possess:

• Middle technical education (MBO) with at least 2 years of experience or a bachelor’s degree (HBO) in mechanics, mechatronics, systems & control, electronics, or applied physics
• Knowledge of mechanical and/or electronics engineering
• Ability to analyze and interpret technical data
• Preferably experience with or a strong interest in high-tech systems
• Good presentation skills in both Dutch and English
