Job Responsibilities

As the Team Leader Warehouse Support, you will:

• Drive engagement and build a climate where staff are motivated to do their best.
• Provide leadership to your team members by leading through change, encouraging relationships, and guiding them towards achieving organizational and personal goals.
• Promote a high-quality and PPI (Practical Process Improvement) culture and activities.
• Construct a strong team that applies diverse skills and perspectives to reach shared objectives.
• Conduct interviews, hire, and onboard new team members.
• Hold regular one-on-one meetings and PMD (Performance Management and Development) conversations with all direct reports to empower their development.
• Foster excellent cooperation with other teams.
• Handle critical issues related to your specialization(s) efficiently.
• Keep work instructions and training records for your team up to date.
• Build and maintain metrics and performance reports for management as necessary.
• Lead daily WS team tier meetings to discuss results and plan for the day.
• Step in for your manager during their absence.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

• A minimum of MBO-4 or HBO level education, or equivalent relevant work experience.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Outlook and Excel.
• Proficiency in English and Dutch, both verbal and written.
• At least 3 years of experience as a WS Specialist or in an equivalent position.
• Preferred experience in people management.
