We are looking for a Medical Solution Lead Immunology who has a passion for creating impact for patients, to come and join our fantastic ABN (Alps, Benelux & Nordics) Medical Affairs Team – to be based in the Netherlands

About the role

As the Medical Solution Lead Immunology you ensure the highest possible scientific standards in the implementation of the strategy and the tactical execution in NL together with the FML and the Head of Immunology BeNeLux.  You will ensure the utmost scientific integrity in executing strategies and tactics in the Dutch landscape together with the FML and the Head of Immunology  BeNeLux. This also means taking charge of localizing and translating scientific content while fostering connections with the ABN area Team. In relation to this you will address barriers to streamline development of materials and assets for the field.  You are responsible for building the local medical plan and ensuring its implementation in the Netherlands in partnership with Medical Strategy Leads from ABN. And finally you ensure delivering high value to patients, healthcare professionals (HCPs), and payers, guided by the highest standards of science, ethics, compliance and quality.

Who you will work with

In this position, you will have close collaboration with all stakeholders, both internal and external, with a special focus on the solution leads, the medical team and the Head of Immunology  BeNeLux.

  • Internal stakeholders: e.g. commercial team, marketing, MSL’s, Field force (Health Care Provider Partners), Compliance & regulatory partners and your ABN Medical community.
  • External stakeholders; e.g. KOLs, individual HCPs and payers. Patients / Patient Associations / Advocacy Group representatives.

You will report to the Field Medical Lead Dermatology Nordics & NL.

What you will do:

  • Implement the local medical solutions as they were defined in the local Patient Value Brand Plan
  • Localize global medical solutions for NL in line with local insights and budget

Implement specific local solutions in a timely manner according to the Patient Value Plan (eg. MSL materials, advisory boards, RWE, local and international congresses, medical trainings for customer facing roles, contribute to cycle meetings…) and ensure the project management and budget follow-up. Ensure all promotional and medical solutions have obtained local compliance approval

Partner with the necessary external stakeholders on key projects that will drive patient value and responsible to keep the MSLs informed.

Work with the Marketing Solution Lead to ensure the highest scientific standards of promotional materials and projects

  • Reference point for guidelines initiatives in terms of scientific content

To be the reference scientific expert for National market access initiatives like national negotiations & HTA submissions

I nterested? For this position you’ll need the following education, experience and skills:

  • Master or PhD in Life Sciences, Pharma etc.
  • Dutch and English proficiency is required
  • Several years of experience in stakeholder facing roles within healthcare
  • You have been working within multidisciplinary teams
  • You have knowledge of the local healthcare compliance and pharma environment
  • Strong written and verbal communications
  • Executed a medical plan
  • Affinity with omnichannel approach
  • Therapeutic knowledge in Rheumatology or/and Dermatology is an advantage
