Associate Director, Transfer Pricing

Genmab seeks a proactive and analytically strong Associate Director - Transfer Pricing - to join our global tax team. In this role, you will be the go-to expert for all transfer pricing matters, ensuring compliance with laws and regulations while effectively managing related processes. You will collaborate closely with colleagues from finance, tax, and other (corporate) functions across multiple jurisdictions. This is a broad and dynamic role that requires a strong understanding of transfer pricing combined with strong financial and analytical skills.
This position can be located in Copenhagen (Denmark) or Utrecht (Netherlands) and reports to the Senior Director, Tax based in the Netherlands.
The Role
- Implement, execute, and monitor Genmab's global transfer pricing policies to ensure appropriate pricing for intercompany transactions.
- Provide day-to-day support on transfer pricing matters, including collaborating with the finance and broader tax teams.
- Manage transfer pricing documentation, including CbCR, Master File, Local File, DAC6, and other related tax reporting.
- Partner with key stakeholders to ensure transfer pricing compliance with respect to new and existing business operations.
- Recommend and review tax clauses in legal agreements.
- Monitor changes in tax legislation and assess their impact on Genmab.
- Enhance transfer pricing governance and SOX controls with respect to processes, procedures, pricing calculations and documentation.
- Identify and drive the implementation of process improvements.
- Coordinate and manage tax audits, as required.
- Work closely with external advisors on strategic and operational transfer pricing matters.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in economics, Tax, Finance, or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 8-10 years of transfer pricing experience, preferably from a Big 4 firm and/or a multinational corporation.
- Expertise in supply chain structures and transfer pricing implications.
- Strong financial and analytical skills, including experience with (or review of) financial modeling.
- Industry experience in Pharmaceuticals or Biotechnology is a strong plus.
- Proven ability to conduct in-depth analyses and deliver actionable recommendations.
- A hands-on attitude and a willingness to "roll up your sleeves" and get the job done.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
